If we walk by the rivers or drive past them which go through city． We can see the chemical factories near them pouring waste water into them without doing anything to it all the time．As a result, the fish and kinks of animals in them are dying out because of the polluted water．Many trees have been cut down while no more trees have been planted in the places．People leave rubbish everywhere．All these have caused some serious problems．For example, the land is sandy, the air is less clean, even the temperature of the earth is rising． As we know, the 2008 Olympics will be hosted in Beijing．In order to improve our environment, we should plant more trees, sort the rubbish and put it into right dustbins and stop factories pouring waste directly the air or rivers． In word, nowadays the most important thing we can do is to protect the environment．
